The point of it

One schedule, not two versions of one.

Most custody arguments are not about the schedule. They are about what the schedule was. A screenshot of a text from March does not settle it, and two calendars in two phones will always drift apart.

This one calendar is the same for both of you. Set the rotation once and every day on it shows whose day it is. Events, pickups, practices and appointments sit on the days they happen, and any change carries who made it and when.

It is part of the free plan. Both parents get it without a credit card, the same way both parents get messages, photos and the Family Vault.

How it works

Set it once, then only handle the exceptions.

Pick your rotation

Week on week off and 2-2-3 are built in. If your order says something else, build the rotation yourself and the calendar fills the rest of the year.

Ask for a swap

Send a swap with a respond-by date. Your co-parent accepts, counters with a different day, or declines. Nobody has to remember who said yes.

The record keeps up

Agreed, declined and expired swaps are all kept, timestamped, and cannot be edited or deleted. The schedule you actually lived is the one on file.

In court

When a hearing needs the schedule.

No court approves an app, and we will not tell you one approved ours. What is true is narrower and more useful: every schedule change here is timestamped and cannot be edited or deleted by either parent, and you can hand a judge a TrueCopy, your certified court record, which puts the messages, the photos, the calls and the schedule changes in one PDF in order.

A TrueCopy is $39 on the Free Plan, whenever a hearing actually needs one, and unlimited on Premium. Every TrueCopy carries a code, and any court or attorney can check that it is genuine at textingparents.com/verify without contacting us.

Questions

Co-parenting calendar questions

Is the co-parenting calendar free?+

Yes. The shared calendar is on the Free Plan for both parents, with no credit card. Premium adds unlimited TrueCopy exports, unlimited voice and video calls, AI tone assist and priority support for $99 a year or $12.99 a month for the whole family. See pricing.

What custody schedules does it support?+

Set a rotation once and every day shows whose it is. Week on week off and 2-2-3 are built in, and you can build a fully custom rotation instead. There is a longer walk-through in the co-parenting schedule guide.

How do schedule changes work?+

You send a swap request with a respond-by date. Your co-parent can accept it, counter-offer, or decline. Declined and expired requests are kept too, so the record shows what was asked and what was answered.

Can I see it in my own calendar app?+

Yes. The shared custody calendar also shows up in your own Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, so you do not have to check two places.

Can the calendar be used in court?+

Schedule changes are timestamped and cannot be edited or deleted, and they appear in a TrueCopy, your certified court record. A TrueCopy is $39 on the Free Plan and unlimited on Premium, and any court or attorney can check that one is genuine at textingparents.com/verify.
